BIOGRAPHY:
She was born on 15 November 1956 in Labin. In 2004 she completed her post graduate scientific master's study at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka (the today's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences). In 2015 she completed the university doctoral study of pedagogy at the Department of Pedagogy of the Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

She acquired her first work experience as a classroom teacher in Italian primary schools, continuing as a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and the Teacher Training College in Pula, University of Rijeka. During the reorganization of the Pula higher education institutions she kept working at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, at the today's Department of Educational Sciences. She is the module co-ordinator and performer of a few methodology courses in the Italian language. Along with her teaching work she participated in the design and improvement of more than one study programme undertaking responsible organisational and leading duties. She was also the committee and board member at the level of University departments. Since 2000 she has been the president of the State Licence Exam Committee for preschool teachers in the Italian language.

She has published numerous specialist and scientific papers and took part in two national and one international scientific project.
